West Indies legend Sir Vivian Richards and former England captain David Gower have been named Honorary Team Managers for the “One Commonwealth, One Team – A Commonwealth Cricket Celebration”.
The encounter on November 1st will see Caribbean leaders take on heads of Government from across the Commonwealth.
Sir Vivian will manage the Caribbean side, while Gower will take charge of the Wider Commonwealth side.
The special fixture forms part of the programme for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2026 in Antigua & Barbuda.
Sir Vivian and Gower led their countries against each other when England toured the Caribbean in 1986.
That series that included Sir Vivian’s famous 56-ball century at the Antigua Recreation Ground, then the fastest Test hundred in history.
