An Arima man has appeared before a Master of the High Court charged with the murder of businesswoman Tricia Marajh.
Arima sales assistant Nelijah Bain was also charged with possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition.
Marajh was shot dead outside her St Joseph home on April 8.
Meanwhile, another man from Arima has been arrested and quantities of cannabis seized.
A 48-year-old man from Maturita Trace Extension was arrested, with over 500 grammes of cannabis found.
In a separate incident, a further quantity of almost 700 grams of cannabis was discovered in a bushy area along Arima Old Road.
