The new terminal building at the ANR Robinson International Airport in Tobago has moved a step closer to full operation following the formal handover of key certifications, warranties and operating manuals.
Minister of Work Jearlean John met with stakeholders on Sunday, to begin the transition process as the terminal has received international aviation, safety and environmental certifications.
Officials say extensive work has been completed since the facility reached partial completion in March 2025, including airfield lighting installation, baggage handling system commissioning, taxiway paving and operational readiness testing.
The handover marks a major milestone in the operationalisation of the new terminal.
