A 4.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded early this morning.
According to the UWI’s Seismic Research Centre, the tremor occurred about 4:40AM, with its epicentre located 66 kilometres east of Carúpano, Venezuela, at a depth of 79 kilometres.
The quake was also located about 125 kilometres east of Port of Spain.
The SRC says the information is preliminary and may be revised following further analysis.
