Various quantities of narcotics have been seized during an Operation Steady Guard exercise in Tobago.
Between 9:30am and 7:10pm on Saturday, operations were carried out in Scarborough, Shirvan Road, and Crown Point.
During this time, officers searched a male suspect along New Road, Buccoo and found 0.7 grams of cocaine on his person.
Meanwhile, in the Shirvan Road district, another male suspect was arrested after being found with 157 grams of cannabis.
Finally, at Roach Trace, Mt. Pleasant officers searched a female suspect who was seen exiting a bedroom holding a transparent plastic bag.
She allegedly attempted to flush the bag down a toilet, however the officers intervened and found approximately 120 grams of cocaine.
Investigations into these matters are ongoing.
