Finance Minister Dave Tancoo is expected to deliver the Mid-Year Budget Review at 10:30AM today, as Parliament considers an additional $2.93 billion in expenditure.
The supplemental allocation would increase the 2026 Budget from $59.232 billion to approximately $62.162 billion.
Government has indicated that a significant portion of the funding is intended to facilitate salary increases and settlements for more than 62,000 unionised workers.
The review comes amid interest from labour groups, the business community, law enforcement representatives and Opposition members on issues including employment, wages, economic growth and public spending.
