A wildfire in southern Spain has killed at least 12 people, making it one of the country’s deadliest on record.
AP News reported that the blaze has also left several people injured, while 23 others remain missing.
Authorities say a fallen power line may have sparked the blaze, which spread rapidly during a heatwave, currently affecting much of southern Europe.
Around 1,000 residents have been evacuated, as more than 300 emergency responders work to contain the fire.
