Venezuela’s Acting President, Delcy Rodríguez, is calling for the lifting of U.S. sanctions to boost investment in the country’s energy sector.
She says the current licensing system lacks long-term legal certainty, making it difficult for companies to plan.
Rodríguez noted ongoing talks with international firms, including Chevron, and emphasized the role of independent producers.
She added that both Venezuela and the United States are capable of building stable energy and economic partnerships.
