The US has pledged an additional US$80 million to help fight the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.
The US State Department says the funding brings total assistance to US$112 million dollars since the outbreak began.
It is expected to be used for protective equipment, testing supplies and border screening efforts.
Officials say the aim is to contain the outbreak at its source and prevent further international spread.
