A rocket, owned by Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin space tech company, exploded on its launch pad in Florida, during a test last evening.
According to AP News, the company said its “New Glenn” rocket experienced an “anomaly” during a hot fire test and confirmed that all personnel were accounted for at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.
Emergency officials said there is no threat to the public, while US Space Force personnel and the FAA are assisting in the investigation.
Bezos said it is too early to determine the cause but the company will work to rebuild and return to flight.
