Two former police officers have been charged with the 2014 murder of 29-year-old Davindra Siewdass.
Police reported that Lyndon Brown and Jesse Burke, both 40, were arrested on August 30th and later charged following advice from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
The two appeared in court on Monday, and the matter was adjourned to April 2027.
The case dates back to March 2014, when police investigating a reported kidnapping found burnt debris in New Grant, Princes Town.
Three other men were also arrested and detained as investigations continued.
