Police are investigating a suspected arson attack at a home in Penal linked to a high-profile abuse case.
The three-bedroom house on Deosaran Trace, valued at nearly two million dollars, was damaged by fire early Wednesday morning.
Officers believe a Molotov cocktail may have been used to start the blaze, which gutted the interior but was contained before spreading further.
The property is tied to allegations by domestic worker Sabita Basdeo, who reported being assaulted and held against her will.
Two suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.
