A short-lived tropical storm could form in the mid-Atlantic today.
The National Hurricane Centre says an area of low pressure has become better organised overnight.
If current trends continue, it says advisories could be initiative for a storm later today.
However, development beyond that it doubtful, as environmental conditions are expected to become “hostile” from Friday.
Should a tropical storm form, it will be called Dolly.
This system poses no threat to Trinidad and Tobago.
