SEWA-TT is stepping up efforts to strengthen the country’s blood supply, as it hosts its 50th national blood drive on May 17th at the organization’s headquarters in Piarco.

Speaking with 103.1FM News this morning, President of SEWA-TT, Revan Teelucksingh, says the initiative is not just about donations, but disaster preparedness.

Mr Teelucksingh also explained their aim.

The drive, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and ODPM, is targeting 100 units, as part of a wider goal to significantly increase the country’s blood supply.
