The Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) has launched a new Deluxe Coach Digital Ticket Pilot program.
Done in partnership with the National Payment Innovation Company of Trinidad and Tobago (NPICTT), the new system will commence on the DCS Coach Service between Port of Spain and San Fernando.
PTSC says the new system enables real-time ticket validation, while enhancing reporting and streamlining the reconciliation process.
The Corporation says the lessons learned from the pilot will be used to improve and support the expansion of the system throughout Trinidad and Tobago.
Ultimately, the initiative supports a seamless, modern and efficient nationwide transport experience.
