Part of the Priority Bus Route will be temporarily opened to light motor vehicles on Saturday evening, during the Laventille Emancipation Steelband Street Parade.
From 5PM to midnight, motorists will be allowed to use the eastbound and westbound lanes of the bus route, between Port of Spain and Champs Fleurs.
The Transport Ministry says this temporary arrangement is to support traffic flow during the parade along the Eastern Main Road in Success Village, Laventille.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution and follow all instructions from traffic officers.
