The country’s police leadership has been strengthened with the promotion of eight officers to senior ranks.
Three officers have been promoted to Assistant Commissioner of Police, while five have been advanced to Senior Superintendent.
At today’s promotion ceremony, Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander stressed the importance of leadership that listens, stays involved and responds to community needs.
Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro also reminded the officers that their new positions carry greater responsibility and urged the officers to remain visible and accessible to the public.
