Public Utilities Minister Barry Padarath says WASA is preparing for potential challenges to the water supply as the country moves into the dry season.
He gave an update to the media, outside the Parliament before today’s sitting.
Minister Padarath also acknowledged the challenges being faced by customers and outlined some of the factors contributing to them.
Minister Padarath added that the Government is also advancing plans for three desalination plants, with the first expected to come on stream in the first quarter of 2027.
