At the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, Christian Thurton smashed two late boundaries to seal a six-wicket win over PowerGen Penal Sports.
Thurton finished unbeaten on 55, sharing a crucial 79-run stand with Raymon Reifer.
Earlier, Teshawon Castro took four wickets to help restrict Penal to 220, setting up the Patriots’ successful title defence.
