Repairs to the ruptured main near Beetham Gardens have been successfully completed with full service restored.
On the heels of this however, WASA is now addressing a separate, unrelated mechanical incident.
Around 9am today, Booster Pump-set #3 at the Valsayn Booster Station experienced a significant mechanical issue, rendering it inoperable.
The Authority says maintenance teams are currently on-site assessing the situation to determine the necessary repairs.
Due to the issue, production at the booster station has been temporarily reduced by 50%.
As a result, Champs Fleurs, Mt. Lambert, along the Eastern Main Road, and Upper and Lower Santa Cruz (including the Santa Cruz Booster Station), may experience low pressure or intermittent supply.
WASA says every effort is being made to address the issue in a timely manner.
