The Prison Service has officially relaunched the TTPrS NEC QUEEN.
This is one of the vessels responsible for the transportation of officers, inmates, and essential supplies to and from the Carrera Convict Prison.
Delivering remarks was Prisons Commissioner Carlos Corraspe, who emphasized the importance of maintaining dependable transportation to the island facility.
He added that the restoration and continued operation of the NEC QUEEN is critical to the efficiency, security, and daily functioning of the Prison Service.
The T&T Coast Guard was also acknowledged for its continued partnership and support in maritime operations, reinforcing the spirit of collaboration among protective services in ensuring safety, security, and operational readiness.
