Labour Minister Leroy Baptiste says governmentβs 10% wage offer will enhance the standard of living for working-class citizens and their families.
Minister Baptiste told the November issue of Labour Pause, the offer demonstrates the current government cares about the workers and their families.
He said the move is a step in the right direction and called the PNMβs previous offering of 4% and 5% “unjust.”
Minister Baptiste said the decision will impact on thousands of workers in Trinidad and Tobago.
