The newest franchise in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has unveiled a star-studded local core for its debut season.
The Jamaica Kingsmen, who will make their first appearance in the 2026 Republic Bank CPL, are building around two of Jamaica’s biggest T20 names—hard-hitting all-rounders Andre Russell, and Rovman Powell.
The Kingsmen have also secured the experienced Guyanese all-rounder Keemo Paul as part of their contingent.
Other players selected include Keacy Carty, Jediah Blades, Shaqkere Parris, Odean Smith, Vitel Lawes, Romaine Morris, Kirk McKenzie, Kelvin Pitman, and Jeavor Royal.
The CPL is set for august 7 to September 20, with the Kingsmen hoping to make an immediate impact in the “Biggest Party in Sports.”
