Karishma Ramharack

Karishma Ramharack has been named as the Heritage Player for Trinbago Knight Riders for the 2026 Women’s Caribbean Premier League.

Deandra Dottin and Jahzara Claxton have also been confirmed for the side, as an announcement was made today on the local players confirmed for each of the four sides.

The Heritage Player was included in this year’s Player’s Draft as the tournament welcomes a new franchise: Jamaica Empress.

The three existing franchises were also permitted to protect two additional players from their 2025 squads, after which Empress selected two players from the remaining draft pool.

The protected-player phase was then followed by the draft to finalize the local player component of each squad.

Those confirmations are as follows:

Barbados Tridents – Hayley Matthews (Heritage Player)
Qiana Joseph, Afy Fletcher (Protected Players)

Jamaica Empress – Chinelle Henry
Stafanie Taylor, Aaliyah Alleyne (Protected Players)

Guyana Amazon Warriors – Shemaine Campbelle
Realeanna Grimmond, Ashmini Munisar (Protected Players)

Trinbago Knight Riders – Karishma Ramharack
Deandra Dottin, Jahzara Claxton (Protected Players)

FULL LOCAL SQUADS:

Each franchise will also sign five overseas players, creating 15-player squads for the 2026 season.

Under this year’s regulations, all five overseas players will be eligible for selection in the playing XI, providing franchises with greater flexibility in squad composition throughout the tournament.

These overseas players will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
