Cricket West Indies has congratulated Jamaican umpire Christopher Taylor on his appointment to the ICC CWI International Panel of Umpires.
Taylor officially joined the panel on April first after successfully completing the ICC umpire accreditation process.
The 45-year-old recently officiated in Pakistan’s President’s Trophy under the ICC Umpire Exchange Programme, where his performance was rated outstanding.
Taylor says he is humbled by the promotion after twenty years in officiating and hopes more young people will consider umpiring as a career.
