US forces have seized another sanctioned oil tanker in the Caribbean, under Operation Southern Spear.
In a pre-dawn operation, the motor/tanker Veronica was apprehended without incident, after marines and soldiers were launched from the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R Ford.
According the US Southern Command, the vessel was operating in defiance of President Trumpโs quarantine of sanctioned vessels in the Caribbean.
