The Hazardous Seas Alert has been discontinued as of 9:53am.

According to the Met Service, sea around Trinidad and Tobago have been improving, with waves now reaching up to 2m in open waters and less than 1m in sheltered areas.

The organization is still urging people to exercise caution and monitor sea conditions.
