Dolly is now an open tropical wave, however the Leeward Island are being urged to remain vigilant as its remnants move westward.

Maximum sustained winds are near 65 km/h, however the winds associated with the remnants of Dolly are expected to decrease below tropical-storm force on Saturday.

On the forecast track, the remnants should be nearing the Leeward Islands on Saturday night and Sunday.

Heavy rain from the remnants of Dolly could affect the islands late Saturday into Sunday, and the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Hispaniola on Sunday and Monday.

This heavy rain may also produce flash flooding within areas of higher terrain of the Leeward Islands.
