Joint army/police posts in Tobago will be located in Plymouth, Signal Hill and Goodwood.
This was confirmed today by the THA, which says construction is scheduled to begin this weekend.
In a statement, it says the posts will support existing police stations, boost patrol coverage and position police and military personnel closer to the communities they serve.
The THA adds that it remains steadfast in its commitment to working with national security partners to make communities in Tobago feel safe and secure.
The posts are among 30 being established across Trinidad and Tobago in a bid to tackle crime.
