Water supplies to parts of Central and South Trinidad will be affected next week as the Point Lisas Desalination Plant undergoes annual maintenance.
WASA has advised that the plant will shut down from noon on Monday, September 28th, to noon Sunday, October 4th.
Supply is expected to resume from noon on October 4th, with full delivery restored within 24 to 48 hours.
The Desalination plant supplies WASA with 40 million gallons of water daily, supporting the Point Lisas Industrial Estate and supplementing supplies to parts of Central and South-West Trinidad.
