Ahead of the 2026 CPL Draft, six franchises have confirmed their mandatory Breakout Player retentions.
Under CPL regulations, each team was allowed to retain one emerging player.
They are Joshua James for Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, Ramon Simmonds for Barbados Royals, Quentin Sampson for Guyana Amazon Warriors, Navin Bidaisee for St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Ackeem Auguste for Saint Lucia Kings, and Nathan Edward for Trinbago Knight Riders.
According to CPL rules, each franchise must include three Breakout Players in their final squad and field at least one in every match.
