Bail denied for man charged with Angelica Jogie’s death

Bail has been denied for the man charged with manslaughter in the death of seven-year-old Angelica Jogie.

A report by Guardian Media says 33-year-old Ashworth Burnett of Canaan appeared before Master Shah at the Scarborough Magistrates’ Court today.

He has since been remanded into custody and will reappear on October 20th for a status hearing.

Little Angelica died on April 8th after being hit by the jet-ski while in a designated bathing area at Pigeon Point.
