All non-essential government offices will be closed from 1PM on Thursday July 3rd, in light of the Indian Prime Ministerโs visit to T&T.
Notice of this came from the Local Government Ministry, which said this is an effort to ensure the highest level of security.
The Ministryโs Head Office will be reopened on Friday July 4th.
This follows an announcement from the Education Ministry that said all schools will be dismissed by 11:30AM, to help reduce the volume of traffic on major roadways.
