A woman was killed and a man injured after gunmen targeted a car in Princes Town this morning.
Dead is 27-year-old Monifer Carrie of Beetham Gardens.
Carrie and the male victim were driving along Malgretoute Road shortly after midnight, when they were blocked by another vehicle and fired upon by two male suspects.
The two were taken to hospital where the woman was later pronounced dead.
The male victim is said to be in a critical condition.
