Jamaica Kingsmen have reportedly secured Andre Russell, and Rovman Powell for CPL 2026.
The Jamaica Observer says it has confirmed the development, which comes less than two weeks before the draft.
No official confirmation or announcement has yet been made.
Russell was a part of Trinbago Knight Riders for the last CPL, while Powell was attached to Barbados Royals.
According to the report, the franchise’s owners also targeted but missed out on securing Brandon King.
The recently announced CPL draft rules allow Kingsmen, as the newest franchise, to make the first three picks, however they will be restricted to selecting only Jamaican players.
