Trinidad and Tobago has signed Air Services Agreements with Panama and Ghana.
These were signed yesterday on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The Agreements establish the framework for air services between T&T and the respective countries and provide opportunities for enhanced connectivity, while supporting the development of tourism, trade, investment and closer people-to-people ties.
They have been welcomed by Transport and Civil Aviation Minister Eli Zakour, who said they are also part of Government’s broader strategy to strengthen this country’s international aviation network and create new opportunities for connectivity with Latin America and Africa.
