Finance Minister Dave Tancoo is set to present the 2026/2027 national budget at 1:30PM today, under the theme, “People, Priorities and Progress.”
Minister Tancoo says the budget was prepared taking into account the country’s needs and available funds, based on recommendations from Government ministries and other stakeholders.
He noted that limited resources mean some government projects will have to be delayed, as the administration balances national priorities with what the country can afford.
This will be Minister Tancoo’s second National Budget presentation under the current UNC administration.
