Sushma Verma has joined the Trinbago Knight Riders for WCPL 2026, replacing Yastika Bhatia who had to leave for India A duty.
Bhatia has been made captain of that side for three ODIs against Australia A, followed by a four-day game.
The swap is straight, with both playing as wicketkeeper/batters.
TKR has already qualified for the final, set to be played on September 17th in Bridgetown, Barbados.
They will face the winner of Wednesday’s playoff between Barbados Tridents and Guyana Amazon Warriors.
Bhatia is currently the tournament’s second-highest run-scorer.
