National swimmers Liam Carrington and Dylan Carter won medals on the weekend at the Speedo Fort Lauderdale Open.

Eighteen-year-old Carrington has won his first senior international medal, taking bronze in 55.48 seconds in the men’s 100m backstroke.

Dylan Carter was also on the podium, winning bronze in the 50m butterfly.

The three-time Olympian also competed in the 100m butterfly and 50m freestyle finals.

Fellow Olympian Zuri Ferguson also competed in the 200m backstroke heats.
