The Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government’s “CEO and Deputy Leadership Training Program” ended on Friday.
The Ministry stated in a media release that during the course, executives from all 14 Regional Corporations in Trinidad and Tobago were equipped with “critical tools and strategies” in aid decision-making, boost operational efficiency, and enhance service delivery to communities.
“This initiative underscores a continued commitment to building strong, capable leadership ensuring Corporations remain resilient, innovative, and prepared to drive sustainable development at the local level,” the Ministry stated.
On Friday, the Ministry officially launched its national campaign “31 Days of Preparedness and Prevention.”
It said the initiative signals the start of a month of activities aimed at strengthening national readiness ahead of the hurricane season.
“This campaign underscores the Ministry’s continued commitment to proactive planning, public awareness and community resilience ensuring that citizens are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to prepare for potential hazards,” the Ministry stated.
