Homeland Security Minister Wayne Sturge, Works Minister Jearlean John and Legal Affairs Minister Saddam Hosein were taken on a tour of a US aircraft carrier.
The three were invited by the US Embassy and Southern Command to a Distinguished Visitor Day Tour of the USS Nimitz, hosted by the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group yesterday.
The delegation toured the carrier, which is one of the largest warships in the world, and witnessed the take-off and landing of several associated aircraft.
Minister Sturge was also presented with a commemorative plaque from the Captain of the USS Nimitz, and reciprocated with a plaque from Trinidad & Tobago to the Captain.
