An elderly woman is among four persons arrested as police seized a gun, ammunition, and narcotics during anti-crime operations.
Several overnight exercises were carried out in San Fernando and La Romaine.
During this time, they held a 70-year-old La Romaine woman for cocaine possession.
Also arrested were: a 38-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman from La Romain for possession of a rifle loaded with ten rounds of ammunition, as well as a 53-year-old San Fernando man for possession of cannabis.
Also during the exercise, officers searched a bushy area along Papourie Road in Esperance Village, where they found over one kilogramme of cannabis.
