A 24-year-old man is dead following a police-involved shooting at the Military Museum in Chaguaramas early on Monday.
Darion Patterson died at hospital after he was shot during an encounter with officers.
Police say officers responded to reports of persons on the compound shortly before 3am and encountered two males and a female.
During the confrontation, one of the men allegedly lunged at officers with a knife, prompting an officer to open fire.
A 17-year-old male was also injured, while a 17-year-old female was detained.
