Health Minister Dr. Lackram Bodoe joined the Gynaecological and Obstetrical Society of Trinidad and Tobago for its annual Christmas Dinner and Meeting, delivering a feature address honouring the nationโs OBGYN specialists, nurses, midwives and clinical teams.
Dr. Bodoe praised their dedication to improving maternal, newborn and womenโs health, and highlighted ongoing initiatives.
These include strengthening maternal care and expanding gynaecological oncology services to improving antenatal pathways, boosting minimally invasive surgery, and advancing digital tools for pregnancy support.
As a long-time specialist himself, the Minister expressed deep appreciation for their service and reaffirmed the Ministryโs commitment to continued collaboration with GOSTT in 2026.
