The Energy Ministry has convened discussions with bpTT and NGC regarding development of the Manakin/Cocuina Cross-Border Gas Project.
Led by Minister Dr Roodal Moonilal, the meeting took place yesterday and focused on the status and development of the field, including opportunities for additional collaboration among the Government, bpTT and NGC to advance the project.
The Ministry says the engagement is part of efforts to advance discussions surrounding the development of the cross-border resource and its potential contribution to T&T’s natural gas sector.
Minister Moonilal also underscored the importance of continued collaboration among the relevant stakeholders, as T&T examines opportunities for the responsible development of its natural gas resources and the strengthening of the country’s energy sector.
