The Accident & Emergency Department at the Arima General Hospital is now officially in operation following today’s successful relocation from the Arima District Health Facility.
The NCRHA says the move will improve emergency care, with closer access to key services.
These include CT scan, MRI, X-ray, ICU, laboratory and operating theatres, strengthening overall patient management for Arima and surrounding communities.
NCRHA Chairman, Dr Tim Gopeesingh, CEO Bhadase Seetahal-Maraj and senior executives were on site today to observe operations and engage with staff and patients.
