A 24-year-old man of Goodwood, Tobago been formally charged with the murder of two-year-old Angelo Tobias Plaza.
The accused is named by the TTPS as Shannon Miller, the child’s stepfather.
In a statement it says an audience was held with a Specialist Advisor attached to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions to review the circumstances surrounding the child’s disappearance.
Little Angelo was reported missing on May 11th, 2026, with a comprehensive multi-agency investigation initiated.
The TTPS says, “Following a thorough review of the evidence gathered, legal advice was
provided that there is sufficient evidence to proceed with criminal charges.”
Despite searches in several areas, including the sea off Goodwood Beach and the Studley Park Landfill, the toddler’s body has not yet been found.
