Police say 33 people were detained during an anti-crime exercise in the Mayaro district early Saturday morning.
The operation, conducted between 1am and 7am, saw officers search six premises, leading to the detention of 30 undocumented Venezuelan nationals, 21 women and nine men.
Three other persons were arrested for separate offences.
Police say investigations are continuing into reports of cable theft, motor vehicle larceny and robbery with violence.
