One man was held as police recovered a stolen vehicle in Valencia.
During a Roving Roadcheck Operation conducted yesterday evening, officers came across a Toyota Hilux and a Nissan Bluebird Sylphy along Tapana Road.
As they approached, the driver of the Sylphy fled into nearby bushes, while the driver of the Hilux remained at the scene.
Subsequent checks found that the Sylphy had been tampered with and was carrying false registration plates.
It was also confirmed to have been stolen from the Pinto Police District on June 24th 2026.
The Hilux driver, a 31-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of offences related to the stolen vehicle.
