T&T has been named one of nine countries elected to PAHO’s Executive Committee for the 2026 to 2029 term.
This appointment now gives this country a direct role in discussions on PAHO’s policies, programmes and priorities across the Americas.
T&T was also chosen to serve on PAHO’s Subcommittee on Program, Budget and Administration, providing additional representation in regional health planning and decision-making.
The Health Ministry said the appointments reflect T&T’s continued involvement and growing role in regional and global health.
